vans era suicidal tendencies

Vans syndicate does it again, and this time they teamed up with the metalband Suicidal Tendencies. The pack includes two Era shoes, two t-shirts, one truckercap and a belt. Very clean and simple with the black and white. And dont forget the blue Era. Very nice.

Online now and instore Monday.

undefeated hats fall 09

While walking the Bright tradeshow this weekend we came across a couple of Undefeated Spring 2009 caps. Above you see two subtle snap-back caps, coming in navy and black. The third cap is a New Era collaboration, coming in some nice powerful Spring colors. All three feature the Undefeated strike logo on the back.

More detailed images of the Undefeated Spring 2009 Caps follow after the jump.

caspa

Smartbar decided to throw us a curveball early into the year. In a little bit under a week, Caspa will be crossing the Atlantic and showing us what UK dubstep is all about. Along with Rusko, Caspa’s been at the forefront of his scene, genre and label, Dub Police, for a handful of years now, and with successful releases as well as a FabricLive mix it’s safe to say he’ll remain on top for a while to come. The way I think about it, If electronic music were a school, the dubstep crowd would be the ones taking your milk money and kicking your ass after school by the bike racks. I already know that it’s going to be a nasty show; and it’ll be one night I will have to take off work the next day for..

Caspa - Born To Do It

Caspa - Cockney Violin

Art Of Noise - Moments In Love (Caspa Remix)

Lennie De Ice - We Are IE (Caspa & Rusko Remix)

Starting the leg of his tour off in Chicago, Caspa will also be gracing several other cities afterwards, including Abstract Earth in Portland [01.23], SMOG in Los Angeles [01.24] and Smash Quarterly in Las Vegas [01.25] all before February hits and then he’s back to the UK for a few weeks. Canada, there’s some shows for you at the end of next month..

gadgetarian

I know I have been missing the gadgetz/new tech scene for awhile. I know I haven't posted in quite sometime but with a new year comes new hopes, promises and new inventions. I tend to write about this stuff a lot at my day job so sometimes to write about it for a friends blog isn't that exciting. I however will try and be more committed. If your into to new technology then you most likely know about CES that occurred earlier this month. One of the new creations that surprised me was a Speaker Light Bulb. I really never thought of combining the two and really never thought it to be practical. Well someone is working on it as we speak. Here are the details...

"Thanks to Bluetooth, audio would be transmitted wirelessly from your computer or cellphone to the speaker system contained within each LED bulb. Because LEDs don't produce a lot of heat, I would assume that this idea is actually plausible. The only downside is that the concept, in its current form, calls for a manual volume adjustment by turning the top of the bulb. Obviously, it would be ideal if a network of several of these bulbs could be controlled with a single remote. Otherwise, this is a brilliant idea that I can only hope becomes reality sometime in the near future."

Tigersapien is a pretty legit crew. Right now the fellas are in the studio preparing some stuff for their live show and gearing up for a Spring/ Summer tour. They’ve also been collaborating with Designer Drugs‘ Michael Vincent Patrick and should have some new shit for before long. In the meantime, check out “Luxury” and “Youth & Vitality”, a few tracks off of their soon to be released EP.
